📢 Holocene Network Upgrade Mainnet Release Alert

op-node/v1.10.2 and op-geth/v1.101411.4

This is a mandatory upgrade for Metal L2 & OP Stack Mainnet Chain Nodes to support the Holocene hard fork.

Details:

• op-node Release: v1.10.2

• op-geth Release: v1.101411.4

Mandatory Update:

All node operators must update their mainnet nodes by January 8 to ensure readiness for the activation and to avoid chain splits.

Superchain Activation:

• Networks activating automatically: Base, OP, Orderly, Lyra, Metal L2, Mode, Zora

• Other mainnet chains: Must opt into superchain activation times by setting their superchain_time.

Upgrade Highlights:

• Stricter and simpler block derivation pipeline

• EIP-1559 configurability for more flexible gas parameters

• Updates to the Fault Proof program and MIPS contracts
